Early years

Buckingham was a third & immature boy of Morris & Rutheda Buckingham. Lindsey got 2 older brothers, Jeff & Greg. Growing higher in the Bay Area community of Atherton, California, Lindsey and his brothers were encouraged to swim competitively. Buckingham never took guitar lessons & doesn't review music. By age Long dozen, he became concerned within folk music and practiced a fingerpicking (also referred to as "travis picking") styles of The Kingston Trio. At Fifteen he joined the little folk group providing vocals and guitar act.

Fritz

Lindsey met Stevie Nicks in high school and late formed The Fritz Rabyne Memorial Band with her and 3 more friends. Lindsey's fingerpicking style gave him difficulty playing rock guitar, & he was transferred to bass. Fallowing gaining popularity at Menlo-Atherton High School, "Fritz" became a popular local work & potentially opened for such acts when Santana, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin.
